The 2025/26 Candalaria FUND$ RUN is scheduled for October 7th. The FUND$ RUN is one of Candalaria's biggest fundraisers! Students ask neighbors, friends, and relatives to pledge a dollar amount for the number of laps they can run around Candalaria’s track in 20 minutes. Flat rate pledges are also welcome. Before and after the race, students collect the money from their sponsors and return the money to school. All funds raised go directly to support Candalaria: field trips, in-class special programs, classroom supplies, new technology, author visits, art programs, playground/field improvements, student clubs, and more! 
WE ENCOURAGE EVERY FAMILY TO PARTICIPATE! Consider setting a family goal - $50? $100? $500?You can do it! Involve each member of your family in the fundraising effort, whether a current student or not. Ask friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers for pledges and donations. Every penny will help your child have a richer, more meaningful experience at Candalaria! Fund$ Run proceeds constitute one-half of the PTA’s operating budget each year, and are vital to our ability to provide enriching activities and new equipment to our students. |

- We’ll run rain or shine, so dress appropriately!
- Don’t forget to send your student’s pledge envelope back—even if it’s empty! We reuse them each year!
- Volunteers need to check in at the front office and get a volunteer badge.
- Families can watch their students run! Enter ONLY through the Hansen Ave. gate and remain in that designated area. Do not check in at the front office. After cheering on your student, exit through the Hansen Ave. gate.
