At Candalaria, students have been working hard on the "Husky Way" of doing things around the school.
In an effort to capture and reinforce those moments, staff members have started a video series that demonstrates our school-wide expectations.

The Candalaria PTA Board is looking for a Treasurer for the 2016-2017 school year. While the position won't officially start until next fall, the PTA's awesome current Treasurer, Tracy Ann Gill, would love the opportunity to start getting our new recruit up to speed.

From January 18th to 30th, the Candalaria community will hold our annual "Warm Hands, Warm Feet, Warm Hearts" donation drive. Your donation goes to Helping Hands Resources in Salem to provide for families in need. Items of warmth such as gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, blankets, etc., are accepted.
We will be donating items that have been left in our Lost and Found, so please be sure to check there if your child is missing any clothing items. ALL Lost and Found items will be either donated or discarded.
Bins will be located in the foyer as you enter through the main doors. Please join us as we provide for families and students across the Salem area.
Coaching a Girls on the Run team is one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences. Coaches use the 20 lessons to mentor girls to be more joyful, healthy, and self-confident. Coaches need not be runners; they just need to be individuals who want to be a positive influence and who are committed to developing and celebrating our youth. Teams meet two times a week for 90 minutes for ten weeks (not including no-school days). Practice Partners may also sign up for once a week team support. Come join us and end the season with a super motivating and exciting 5K Celebration. At the elementary level, Girls on the Run serves girls in grades three through five.
